2007 is going to be very special as we celebrate the centenary of the first ever international horse show in the Grand Hall, Olympia. In addition the shows dates are moving closer to Christmas when more children will be on school holidays so we are expecting high levels of ticket sales.
Please make sure that you check the programme carefully as some of the performances and classes have been moved – for example, the Rolex FEI World Cup supported by H&M is now on Saturday 22nd December, having taken place on a Sunday in previous years.

We are currently researching the early years of the show and more information will be available on this page and in the lead up to the show. In the meantime, here’s a little taste of the type of material we have found – Lord Lonsdale who is shown in the top left of the picture below, was the driving force behind the show in 1907. This picture is a part of a magazine spread that reviewed the show at the time.
Whilst we research more history of the show in its early years, there is comprehensive history of the show from the 1970s to the present day which can be found by clicking through on the dates to the left. (www.olympiahorseshow.com)
